-(으)ㄹ 것이다 (것이에요)
-(으)ㄹ 거예요 talks about the future: with 'I/we' it states a plan you already have, and about others or things it gives your guess ("probably will").
시제·상Tense & aspectHan: The guess is about yesterday, so the verb must carry the past tense before 을 거예요: 자다 → 잤을 거예요.
Examples

이번 주말에 친구하고 영화를 볼 거예요.I'm going to see a movie with a friend this weekend.
방학에 뭐 할 거예요?What are you going to do during the vacation?
내일은 날씨가 추울 거예요. 코트를 입고 가세요.It will probably be cold tomorrow. Wear a coat.
Don’t mix up
-(으)ㄹ 것이다 (것이에요)vs-겠--겠- guesses from what you see or hear right now; (으)ㄹ 거예요 guesses from knowledge or reasoning: (looking at food) 와, 맛있겠어요! vs 그 식당 음식은 맛있을 거예요.-(으)ㄹ 것이다 (것이에요)vs-(으)ㄹ게요-(으)ㄹ게요 is a decision or promise made in response to the listener and is first person only; (으)ㄹ 거예요 just reports a plan: 제가 할게요 (I'll do it for you) vs 저는 내년에 한국에 갈 거예요.-(으)ㄹ 것이다 (것이에요)vs-(으)려고 하다-(으)려고 하다 shows only intention and cannot be used for guesses; (으)ㄹ 거예요 covers both: 주말에 쉬려고 해요 (plan) but only 내일 비가 올 거예요 (guess). How to build it
V/A+(으)ㄹ 것이다 (spoken: (으)ㄹ 거예요 / 거야)
past guess: V/A+았/었을 거예요
가다 → 갈 거예요, 먹다 → 먹을 거예요, 춥다 → 추울 거예요, 오다 → 왔을 거예요
- In everyday speech the form is 거예요, not 것이에요 or 거에요: after the vowel of 거 the copula is 예요.
- With a first-person subject it usually means a plan; with adjectives, weather or other people it usually means a guess.
- To guess about something that already happened, put the past tense first: 았/었을 거예요. Plain (으)ㄹ 거예요 cannot refer to the past.
- In questions to the listener it asks about their plans: 주말에 뭐 할 거예요?
Classic mistake
Wrong: 민수 씨는 어제 일찍 잘 거예요.
Right: 민수 씨는 어제 일찍 잤을 거예요.
The guess is about yesterday, so the verb must carry the past tense before 을 거예요: 자다 → 잤을 거예요.
