-는 동시에vs-(으)면서-(으)면서 is the everyday choice for one person doing two things side by side; -는 동시에 is formal and stresses the exact same moment or two coexisting sides: 음악을 들으면서 공부해요.-는 동시에vs-자마자-자마자 means B happens right after A (a sequence), while -는 동시에 means A and B happen at the same instant: 집에 오자마자 잠들었어요.-는 동시에vs-(으)ㄴ/는 반면에-는 반면에 sets two sides against each other as a contrast, while -는 동시에 simply says both sides exist together: 월급이 많은 반면에 일이 힘들어요.How to build it

N+인 동시에
듣다 → 듣는 동시에, 크다 → 큰 동시에, 학생 → 학생인 동시에
- Do not put past or future tense before 동시에 (no 았는/었는 동시에); show the tense only on the final verb.
- It has two uses: exact simultaneity of two events (often different subjects), and two coexisting qualities or roles (usually with adjectives or N인).
- It is formal and typical of writing, news and speeches; in casual talk Koreans usually say -(으)면서 instead, and it is rarely used in commands or suggestions.
