V/A+(으)ㄹ 만도 하다
화가 나다 → 화가 날 만도 하다; 피곤하다 → 피곤할 만도 하다; 먹다 → 먹을 만도 하다
- It is an evaluation: the speaker judges something natural because of a reason, which is usually stated (often with -(으)니까 or -았/었으니) or clear from context.
- For past situations, tense is usually marked on 하다: 화가 날 만도 했다.
- It does not mean 'worth doing' (that is -(으)ㄹ 만하다) and is not used in commands or suggestions.
- The form -(으)ㄹ 만도 한데 often means 'you would expect ~ by now, but…'.
